BHAG stands for Big Hairy Audacious Goal, an idea conceptualized in the book, “Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies” by James Collins and Jerry Porras.
My "BHAG" is to have a TV show on HGTV about moving in and out of homes with tips and tricks about everything from properly taping a box to getting your stuff back if a moving company holds it hostage (it happens more than you think on cross-country moves- it even happened to me!). While I'm not taping, I'm hosting a podcast interviewing moving industry experts and hearing people's crazy moving stories, because everybody has one! I know, it's big and hairy- right? As audacious as it might be, it's mine. I've already started filming and my podcast is in development now!
YOU have a BHAG too. It might be getting debt free and building wealth so you can retire early and travel the world but you're drowning in payments right now so it doesn't feel realistic. It could be moving to NYC to star on Broadway but you've never been to NYC, much less taken an acting class. However unattainable your dream seems to be, the more fun I have reverse engineering you into your goal and getting you networked with the right people in your area to attain it.
Visualizing is the secret key to success. If it's been on your heart, I truly believe there's a reason but 'a dream without a plan is a wish,' so let's make a plan for your move that helps move you closer to your dreams. I will discover which 'tendency' you are through Gretchen Rubin's Four Tendencies Quiz and then incentivize you to hit those through how you're best motivated.
It's time to reclaim your future, let's do it together!
